Year of the Snitch is the volatile and unpredictable sixth studio album fromDeath Grips, pushing their experimental ethos to its most fragmented and chaotic extremes. Blending elements of industrial hip-hop, noise, punk, and electronic abstraction, the album shifts abruptly between aggression and eerie restraint, creating a tense and disorienting listening experience. On vinyl, Year of the Snitch unfolds as a confrontational, avant-garde statement that challenges structure, expectation, and genre boundaries.
